It was an incredible night! 

There was a silent auction...

Lots of fun things to bid on!

We all had a blast,

and we raised just under $9,000 for St. Gerard House!

Mardi Gras Party!

Fat Tuesday, March 8th, from 6 to 9pm, join us for a Mardi Gras Party benefitting St. Gerard House, hosted by Wild Wing Cafe in Asheville!

Admission price includes Big Easy Food, Abita Beer Tasting, and Live Music featuring the Caribbean Cowboys! There will also be a silent auction and a cash bar. Tickets are only $25, and are available at St. Gerard House, or at Wild Wing Cafe in Asheville. Come join us for a great celebration! Call us or stop by for tickets!

Basketball for SGH!

At their last home game on Friday, February 11th, the Carolina Day School girls basketball team held a raffle to benefit St. Gerard House and the Grotto Preschool. The girls planned and organized the whole thing, and even invited some of our students to help them draw the raffle. They raised $100 for St. Gerard House. Thanks, girls! Good luck in the state tournament - Go Wildcats!

Della Dog and Painting

It's been an exciting week at the Grotto already! On Monday, Della Dog visited us:

And then today in art, we worked on handprint t-shirts for the 

Carolina Day School girls' basketball team to wear at this Friday's home game. 

They are holding a raffle at the game to raise money for the Grotto!

The ice won't keep us away!

On Friday, we ventured out of our warm, cozy house to tour the new building down the street. The weather was cold and dreary, but that didn't bring down our spirits! Ken gave us a grand tour of the building:
